Dave Hofmann (right) is originally from the Detroit, Michigan, area and spent most of his professional career working for AM General (the Hummer company) as an International Marketing Manager. He spent over 10 years traveling throughout the world marketing the HUMMER, the most successful military vehicle ever. During the last few years with AM General, Dave was heavily involved with the launch of the commercial version of the HUMMER, the "H1"(the real Hummer).

In 1995, Dave left Detroit looking for new opportunities and landed in South Florida. Dave grew up on the Great Lakes and was an avid power boater. He started one of the largest power boat clubs on the Great Lakes, MOCA, the Michigan Offshore Cruising Association. So getting involved in the boat business was a perfect fit.

Dave has been dedicated to helping people with their boating decisions for all most 20 years, representing brands like Fairline, Formula, Pursuit, Wellcraft, Cranchi and Trojan to name a few. Dave is always excited to meet new people and discuss their personal boating needs. He strives to maintain a close relationship with his past customers. 
With his complete understanding of the marine market place, Dave is a valuable resource for his customers.  

Mike Hansen (left) began his love of water while growing up on a backyard lake with a small boat in the suburbs of Atlanta. He learned to ski, enjoyed fishing and earned his scuba certification at an early age. As soon as he could drive, he started exploring and fell in love with Florida waters. By the late 1970's, he discovered and fell in love with the Bahamas.

Mike’s love of the water and boating continued to grow so much that, in 1985, he decided to move his family to the panhandle of Florida. With a real estate background, Mike used his sales skills to convince the local top quality boat dealer to hire him as a salesman. He quickly proved himself and was rewarded with a doubled salary.

Over the next three years, Mike set new sales standards. When the owner decided to retire and sell the business, Mike took the opportunity to go out on his own establishing a boat brokerage. As “The Boat Broker”, Mike specialized in small fishing and leisure boats.

Bigger opportunities took Mike south to the “Yachting Capital of the World” in 1990. His sales success with Boston Whaler, Grady White, Pursuit and other small boats made for an easy transition into selling larger boats to even the most discriminating clients.

For almost 20 years, Mike has established a solid, honorable reputation in the South Florida boating market with customers all over the world. His last eight years were spent primarily selling new and used Fairline boats.

Mike is very proud to have been named Fairline Boats “Salesman of the Year” in 2007, 2006, 2004, and 2003 for all of North and South America. And though he has earned many other awards he is most proud of being awarded Fairline Boat’s “Repeat Customer” winner for the last 6 years. This award is proof of his success in establishing solid customer relationships, many who have become close friends.
